A previous feature inside of ‘RealPlayer’ is now becoming its own application, ‘RealDownloader‘. With 1-click download inside of RealDownloader you can download any video off the internet with the click of a button. Once installed, a button will appear on the top right of any video on the internet that will say “Download This Video“.
By default, downloaded videos can be found in “Libraries\Videos\RealDownloader\“, however, you can change this location and more options in the RealDownloader preferences (found in the drop-down menu).
RealDownloader is by far the easiest way to download web videos without much hassle. Once installed, RealDownloader will work perfectly with all of your browsers (Firefox, Chrome, Safari, Explorer) creating a download button conveniently at the top of every video player. If you’re a frequent video downloader on the web, like me, this will make downloading videos easy and organized. You can download anything on YouTube, including songs and videos so if you find a video or song you like you save it with the click of a button.
Many people who use the internet download YouTube videos by copying and pasting the video link into an online converter. These sites, like Youtube2mp3.com, are loaded with pop-ups and annoying advertisements, and should be avoided since you now know about RealDownloader. If you would have been clueless as to how to download a video off the web when no download link is present, you can now feel confident that a Download link will hover over every video player, allowing you to save your video to any location on your PC.
You can download RealDownloader for free or upgrade to the Plus version for $39.99; however, I see no reason to do this unless you will benefit from the extra features which include downloading straight to iTunes, mobile device transfers, convert video to audio, and increased download speeds. Almost all of these features you can get for free using different services, so I’ll stick with the free version. Many people will be comfortable will the free version as it does its job perfectly and makes downloading videos off the internet easier than ever.

2. Go to sites like YouTube, CNN, Metacafe, etc.
3. A download link will appear above the video
4. 1-click to download!
Doesn’t get much easier than that! The great thing about ReadlDownloader is that you won’t ever actually have to launch the program as it works perfectly in the background.
